It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jose Drabwell, Past President and Board Member of IPOPI, on January 10th 2025. Many of you will remember her from all of the heartfelt, motivational talks and contributions she has made to our conferences over the years.

Jose served as President of IPOPI from 2008 until 2018 working closely alongside INGID throughout her tenure. During this time she was a source of immense strength, support and guidance to all of us.
INGID joins IPOPI in being profoundly grateful for Jose’s tireless dedication to improving the lives of those living with immunodeficiency diseases. Her unwavering commitment has left a permanent mark on our community.

This is heartbreaking news for all who knew her, Jose will be remembered as a kind and compassionate individual and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues and the entire IPOPI community during this difficult time.”
