Education and Research News
Journal Club
Our first virtual INGID Journal Club was very successful and there is a recording available: https://ingid.org/resources/
As you know it will be taking place on a regular basis and the next INGID Journal Club will be held on February 23rd at 18.00 CET. We are going to cover a pediatric topic. The article we are going to discuss, was suggested by one of our members and has the title “Prevalence and Impact of Fatigue in Children with Primary Immunodeficiency Disorders: A Quantitative Single-Center Study “by Visser et al. from 2022. Please note that the author of this article was a previous member of the INGID Board.
Here is the Zoom Link for the meeting. And don’t forget to save the dates for the following ones;
March 20th 2023 18.00 CET (with an adult focus)
April 26th 2023 16.00 CET (with a pediatric focus)

Thank you to all those members who voted for the location of the 2026 conference venue and we can confirm Maastricht was the winner with 40% of the vote.
NURSE CONTACT LIST UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to be part of the international nurse contact list, it is now live on the web-site under the resource section. We are still interested to hear from members who would like to be a nurse contact.
INGID ELECTION COMMITTEE VACANCY
This is an excellent first step to working on a board and offers the opportunity to learn how the leadership of an international organisation works. Please contact either Lucy at or Riet at if you are interested in this very exciting opportunity.
WORLD PI WEEK
There is lots happening behind the scenes in preparation and INGID are very involved once again. Please do support it in your areas, see www.worldpiweek.org for more details and the 2023 World PI Week campaign toolkit is now available to download.

OTHER NEWS…
We are keen to make contact with any French speaking nurses who might be interested in giving a short talk/workshop at the African Society for Immunodeficiencies bi-annual meeting which takes place in June 2023.
And finally if possible please could you spare a few minutes to look at the nursing guidelines for immunoglobulin therapy in your own language and let us know if there are any mistakes/errors in the translations that you can spot. We would like to make any necessary changes and updates to these guidelines at one time to save on costs.
Please contact any members of the board for anything however small, which would improve the content.
With very warm wishes to you all as we move into Spring in the chillier north and Autumn in the warmer south.
Rosalind and the INGID board.
