INGID News November 2022
INGID 2022 Conference
Thank you very much to the 60 INGID members who travelled to Gothenburg for what has been described by many as one of our best ever conferences. It was such a joy to welcome our speakers in person and we thank ESID and IPOPI too for their support and input. We are looking forward to receiving the official photographs, these will be on https://ingid.org/
There were many highlights, an excellent educational afternoon, many interesting and insightful talks on a huge range of subjects related to immunodeficiency and inborn errors of immunity and networking opportunities. There was a yoga session to promote well-being for our members and very special thanks go to Jose Drabwell who gave us a very moving and personal story titled “Diagnosis to treatment and beyond” which was our key note lecture. All of the talks were recorded and are available on the ESID web-site for 3 months https://esidmeeting.org/
Please go to the tab At ESID 2022 and scroll down to Go to Virtual Meeting log-in where you will be asked for your registration number.
There were many new collaborations during the conference such as our strategic meeting where we welcomed many pharma companies and presented our plans and aspirations for the next 4 years. The programme included 2 sponsored symposiums which allowed us to support 8 nurses and 3 health care practitioners to travel and give presentations in Gothenburg, we heartily thank Octopharma and CSL for giving us the opportunity to be able to do this. We also enjoyed a hugely successful networking event one evening and a round table working lunch, our thanks go to Takeda and IHS for these events.
MARSEILLES 2024
We are now looking forward to our next joint INGID/IPOPI/ESID conference in Marseilles in 2024. We want to let you know that you will shortly be receiving notification of voting for the venue of the 2026 conference, please look out for this.
